(2018) | Series of internet-of-things stones (14x13x11cm)
Cast stones, replicas of a Berlin Pflasterstein (pavingstone), created using a 170-year-old alchemy recipe with natural ingredients only, coming out of an Austrian mountain. The stones have a small custom designed IoT unit with a battery inside, which connects all stones to and through the internet, using Landscape IoT.
If I can’t go to the mountain, the mountain must come to me.
The sole purpose of this is to connect the stones to and through the internet, making them internet-of-things stones. Some of the stones can measure their core temperature and humidity. Others can produce sound; when you hold one of these in your hand you can feel and hear a heartbeat.
